Artist's Comments

This is something completely random. It was done just to tryout Camtasia Studio 5. The end result, well, I'm not very happy with it. That's why this one goes into my scraps : /

--edit--
Decided to move it out from scraps.

Wow that's great. I always have a problem with making my lips look as realistic. How do you get those creases in the lips?
:iconlanderoc:
I don't know if I could explain that in words but the way I draw lips is using a light and dark color with different brush sizes. Starting of with a big brush using a light color drawing vertical lines then using a darker color and drawing vertical lines on top of the lighter vertical lines. Try not to cover the lighter color fully with the darker lines. Do this several times and do not mind perfection, just do the lines randomly. You might want to use the smudge tool if you feel you have to do some minor changes on what you've done. Then after you're done with the vertical lines drawn with a big brush, make your brush smaller and again draw vertical lines on top of the ones you already have. Remember to use a light and dark color. Also, play around with the opacity from the very beginning by making the first vertical lines low in opacity then the ones you draw on top higher in opacity. I think you will see the results as you go. Then after you're done with the vertical lines, you can the add the highlights. You can either use a color brush or the dodge tool. I hope this makes sense. ;)
